A site where you can get in touch with fellow astronomers, share your pictures with them,
create groups and interact with them. Basically, a site created specifically for amateur
astronomers with their needs in mind.

What does this site offer you?
The initial site (here) had the basic capability to search for fellow astronomers near you. This
version of the site expands on that idea add adds the following:
Mark your location so others can find you
Mark Dark Sites and astronomy clubs so others can benefit
Upload Pictures
Find and make Friends (Buddies)
Integration with Google Maps for ease of use

Nov 13, 2009: Home page modified to include "Website Updates", "Latest News" and "Links". Dark Sites page is up and running.

you. If a user has not entered his/her Latitude and Longitude, we derive it using the
city and country in the profile.
Click on the Circles or Scopes on the map for user details. Click and Drag mouse to move around map.
